OUR STORY
Built for the job site. Backed for the long run.
Craton Machinery designs, builds and supports compact and mid-size construction equipment for contractors, rental fleets and importers on five continents.
We started in 2010 as a small engineering workshop in Jinan, Shandong, repairing excavator booms and testing our own hydraulic circuits after hours. Fifteen years later, Craton machines work on building sites in 120+ countries — but the operating principle hasn't changed: build the machine the operator trusts, and back it with parts and people who answer.
An engineering culture, not an assembly line
Every Craton machine begins with a question we ask contractors: where does the current equipment fail you? The answers become design targets — zero tail swing in tight urban sites, low ground pressure on soft turf, high-flow hydraulics for the attachments you already own.
- In-house R&D with full CAD, simulation and prototype testing
- Vertical integration: frame fabrication, welding, painting, assembly and testing under one roof
- Field feedback loop — our engineers join dealer visits and read every service report
- Continuous improvement: we publish yearly product revisions based on real site data
What's included
What we stand for
Four commitments that shape every machine we ship and every conversation we take.
Honest specifications
Real weights, real depths, real flow numbers. Our spec sheets are verified on test rigs, not marketing decks.
Support that answers
Video support, a parts desk that replies in hours, and service engineers who travel when you need them.
Serviceable by design
Tilt cabs, grouped service points and numbered hoses — designed so a good mechanic isn't fighting the machine.
A global partner, locally
120+ countries served through dealers, parts hubs and direct accounts with a single responsible contact.
Talk to the team behind the machines
Whether you need one machine or a hundred, we'd rather understand your site than sell you a spec sheet.
